In my journey through the world of art I have come to learn that it is truly the medium that defines the work. The main purpose of my work is to create an interactive experience between my work and the viewer. When setting out with my brush and canvas, I have an idea in mind and when the work is complete, something new appears in it that almost changes the story the painting tells. At the same time, to the individual gazing at it, it may convey another thought. Perhaps the viewer can find something in the work about him or herself, making the experience an even greater inspiration through creating an atmosphere of sharing and ideas, and adding to the endless communication of art. It is my hope that you find in my works just as much about yourself as I have about me.
